Outsmarting your brain to play your best golf
About me
Tracy Tresidder M.Ed., ACC
I am a professional coach, lecturer and speaker in the areas of work/life balance, stress management and golf psychology. I have a wealth of knowledge and communication skills acquired through teaching Physical Education, Health and Personal Development to adults and children across the full range of public and private sectors
I hold a Masters Degree in Education majoring in Exercise Physiology.and have completed a Professional Development Certificate in Coaching at the University of Sydney. I am a member of the University’s Coaching and Mentoring Association. and am accredited with the internationally recognised and highly respected International Coach Federation of which I am also a member.
My particular area of interest is assisting individuals to reach their full potential; whether it is through golf psychology, leadership development, communication effectiveness, parenting effectiveness, stress management or work/life balance.
I have a long association with sport,I previously taught physical education at several major high schools over 15 years and am currently tutoring and lecturing, part-time, at University in the area of Human Movement where I have been involved for the past 16 years. I have coached many teams and individuals in a range of sporting disciplines to personal best performances including grand final wins.
I took up golf as an interest only 8 years ago and became the 2005 Ladies Club Champion at my local golf club and placed 5th in the 2006 NSW Champion of Champions Nett Event. I found that by applying the psychology I was using with my business and life coaching clients in the golfing arena, I was able to not only bring my own handicap down but could pass the benefit of my knowledge and its application onto those who play with me.
I discovered that by applying the long-proven coaching methods I use with my business and private clients to the psyche of golf and golfers, I have been able to calm the “savage beast within” numerous playing partners and other associates whilst increasing their confidence. This can be achieved either,in a group or one on one situation with remarkable success.
I obtain a great deal of satisfaction as I see improvements in both handicaps and the player’s level of enjoyment. I am inspired by the people that I coach and love to hear it when they in turn say they are inspired by me.
